Middlezoy 2nds 268-9 beat Wembdon Cricket Academy 153-8 by 115 runs

WEMBDON Cricket Academy lost the toss and were put in the field against champions Middlezoy.
After a slow start, Middlezoy picked up the pace with big innings from G Purcase (87), Josh Gray (41), P Gray (54) and A Campbell (25).
A late collapsed with Paul Cook finishing on 4-73 and two brilliant run outs by Max Syvret and Tyler Fagen saw Middlezoy finish 269-9 declared.
Wembdon’s response started slowly with the top five scoring 31 between them. A huge six from Gav Mansfield got the game started and a fantastic innings of 51 from Steve Morrish and some big hitting from Tyler Fagen (46 not out) saw Wembdon to 153-8.
